About the iDecco

The Peachtree Audio iDecco is a hybrid stereo integrated amplifier with a 40-watt-per-channel MOSFET power amplifier rated into 6 ohms, a tube-buffered preamplifier that can be bypassed, and an integrated ESS Sabre ES9006 digital-to-analog converter. It provides USB, coaxial, optical, and digital iPod inputs, plus one analog stereo input; digital sources are processed at up to 24-bit/96kHz. The top-mounted dock extracts digital audio from compatible iPods, and component-video output supports iPod video playback. Additional connections include fixed and variable analog preamp outputs, speaker terminals, and a 1/4-inch headphone output. The amplifier uses a built-in linear power supply with a toroidal transformer and has a visible tube in its art-deco-style chassis. Its dimensions are approximately 14.75 inches wide, 5 inches high, and 14 inches deep; published specifications list its weight at approximately 25 pounds.
