The PBN Audio Olympia L/is is an all-FET preamplifier with a fully differential line stage and an external MPS power supply using a 375VA transformer and 80,000µF of capacitance. It employs Dale RN60-D resistors, targeted Caddock resistors in critical circuits, and separate windings for each quadrant of the amplifier section for improved channel separation and power delivery. The design includes high-capacity energy storage, four independent regulators in the main chassis, and PBN's proprietary 75-ohm low-impedance BNC interconnect option alongside balanced and RCA outputs, allowing it to drive demanding cable and amplifier loads with low noise and high resolution. The Olympia L/is provides approximately 20dB of gain with multiple balanced and single-ended inputs, a digital volume control with remote operation for volume, mute, and input selection, and is connected to its power supply via a military-grade multi-conductor Teflon-sheathed silver wire umbilical.
