About the Gold
The Gold Series power cables by Patrick Cullen feature three 10awg 99.99% oxygen-free copper (OFC) conductors, each composed of 41 individual 30awg strands, spun in a rotation to reject noise and RF interference. The cables are finished with black Techflex sleeves and use polyethylene dielectric for insulation. Rated for 30 amps, these super flexible cables are hand-built in the USA and designed to power a wide range of audio components including DACs, solid state and tube amplifiers, subwoofers, disc players, and power conditioners. Connectors are 24K gold plated over 99.99% OFC red copper and cryogenically treated at -192 degrees for 48 hours to ensure a tight fit and superior conductivity. The Gold Series cables produce a neutral but slightly warm sound signature and are available with 15-amp or 20-amp terminations, with the 20-amp IEC connector being a Hubbell 320HC.
