The Pathos Classic One MKIII is a hybrid integrated amplifier designed to embody the expertise of Pathos' reference products in a more affordable package. It features a purely tube, balanced, Class A preamplifier stage with extremely low noise and zero feedback, providing transparency, air, harmonics, and musicality. The power amplifier stage is solid-state, Class A/AB with high bias current, capable of driving any load with speed and dynamics without compromising the tube sound character. The preamplifier and power amplifier are housed in a single chassis but completely separated with individual power supplies. The volume control is motorized and remote-controlled, with a solid wood remote. The amplifier uses selected components, pure silver Pathos signal cable wiring, gold-plated terminals, and high-quality materials for refinement. It can be bridged to mono mode to deliver 180 watts into 8 ohms. The design emphasizes value for money, combining accurate engineering and superior aesthetics.
