The Pass Labs X2.5 is a high-end linestage preamplifier designed to deliver exceptional audio quality. It features a remote control, internal power supply, and a simple yet effective user interface. The preamp includes four sets of input connections, both single-ended and balanced output connections, and a tape loop. It offers adjustable gain settings of +4dB and +14dB, with a default gain of +4dB optimized for Pass amplifiers. The X2.5 also includes a unity gain function for pass-through applications, such as home theater processors. It uses Pass Labs' Supersymmetry circuit topology to minimize distortion and noise. The preamp is constructed with a single chassis, milled from anodized aluminum, and includes features like channel balance, input selection, phase adjustment, and volume control in 1dB increments.
