The Pass Labs HPA-1 is a premium headphone amplifier that also functions as a capable line preamplifier. The HPA-1 features a high-bias Class A operation with a discrete JFET input stage and a MOSFET output stage, providing low noise and wide bandwidth. It offers a frequency response of 10 Hz to 100 kHz (-1 dB) and can output up to 3.5 watts into 32 ohms, ensuring a clean and dynamic sound even with demanding high-impedance headphones.
