The Parks Audio Budgie Hybrid Phono Preamp uses a single-ended Class A audio path combining JFET and vacuum-tube circuitry. It provides 46 dB of gain for moving-magnet and high-output moving-coil cartridges, with Parks Audio’s Exacta™ monotonic loading system offering 16 resistive-loading choices. The design features active RIAA equalization with hand-matched components, externally accessible 6DJ8/6922 tubes, quiet DC filaments, startup muting, and an external 12V power supply.
