The Paradigm Signature S2 is a premium bookshelf loudspeaker from Paradigm's Signature line, known for its exceptional clarity, dynamic range, and musicality. It features a 1-inch pure beryllium dome tweeter with dual super-neodymium ring magnets and integrated heatsink for excellent transient response and low distortion. The 7-inch mid/bass driver uses cobalt-infused anodized pure aluminum cone with a Non-Limiting Corrugated surround, allowing greater linear excursion and dynamic output. The crossover is a 3rd-order electro-acoustic design at 1.8 kHz, ensuring smooth integration between drivers. The enclosure is made from 3/4" MDF with curved sidewalls and internal bracing for rigidity and minimal resonance. Sensitivity is rated at 91 dB in-room (88 dB anechoic), with an impedance compatible with 8 ohms and a recommended amplifier power range of 15 to 225 watts. The frequency response extends from 36 Hz (DIN) to 45 kHz on-axis, delivering detailed highs, transparent mids, and impactful bass with quick transient response. The speaker weighs 28 lbs and measures 15" H x 8.25" W x 14" D, available in Cherry or Piano Black finishes. It is designed for stand mounting and bi-wiring/bi-amping with high-quality binding posts.
