About the Prime
The Pangea Audio Prime Interconnect Cable is designed by Jay Victor following the principle of simplicity without compromise. It features 99.99% pure oxygen-free copper conductors, twisted and shielded with double-sided AL/Mylar foil to reduce RF and EM interference. Conductors are insulated with advanced foamed PE, which contains tiny air bubbles to minimize dielectric absorption. The cable is encased in a highly flexible yet tough woven fabric jacket. Terminations use non-magnetic, non-ferrous RCA covers with gold-plated machined brass conductors, Polyoxymethylene (POM) insulator, and a split RCA center pin for improved connection. Available in RCA-to-RCA or RCA-to-mini configurations, with RCA ends accommodating up to five inches apart. It delivers big performance at an entry-level price, outperforming many competitors.
