The Panamax MAX 5500 ACRegenerator is a sophisticated power management device that combines surge protection, line conditioning, power stabilization, and AC regeneration to ensure clean and stable power for audio and video equipment. It features a 500VA toroidal isolation transformer that regenerates AC power for four isolated outlets dedicated to digital source components, effectively eliminating EMI/RFI noise and isolating noise generated by digital devices from the rest of the system. The unit includes multiple outlet banks: four isolated outlets for digital gear, four always-on outlets with Balanced Double-L filtration for analog components, two high-current outlets for amplifiers and subwoofers with filtered power and high instantaneous current capacity, and a front-panel convenience outlet. It also incorporates Panamax's SurgeGate Plus technology to detect and disconnect equipment during over- and under-voltage conditions, protecting connected devices.
