The Oyaide SWO-GX is a premium AC power outlet engineered specifically for audiophile applications. It is part of Oyaide's SWO series, which is renowned for its meticulous material selection and plating processes aimed at maximizing electrical performance and minimizing signal degradation. The SWO-GX uses deoxidized phosphor bronze blades, which are buff polished and then plated with a thick layer of 24K gold for optimal conductivity and corrosion resistance. The chassis is constructed from 30% glass-filled PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), providing high rigidity and excellent electrical isolation to reduce vibration and distortion. The mounting frame is made of 1.5mm thick brass with 24K gold plating, ensuring mechanical stability and further minimizing magnetic interference. All screws are non-magnetic stainless steel for durability. The design emphasizes secure contact, with a blade thickness of 0.8–1.0mm for reduced current resistance and strong retention, capable of holding plugs securely even under significant force. The SWO-GX is rated for 125V and 15A, and is designed to accept cables up to 5.5mm². The product is entirely non-magnetic to avoid any influence on sound quality from external magnetic fields.
