The Outlaw Audio M8 is a compact powered subwoofer using an 8-inch down-firing driver in a ported cabinet, driven by a 125-watt RMS Class AB amplifier (approximately 200 watts dynamic/peak). It was marketed as a high-value, easy-to-place subwoofer for music and home theater systems, with bass extension down to about 29 Hz and a frequency response of roughly 29–250 Hz (±3 dB). Connectivity includes stereo RCA line-level inputs (with the left input also serving as a mono/LFE input) and speaker-level binding-post inputs/outputs, along with adjustable level and variable low-pass crossover, a 0°/180° phase switch, and auto/on/off power mode via signal-sensing. The product is currently listed by Outlaw Audio as out of stock and is treated as an older model, and is no longer actively manufactured or sold by the brand.
