The Ortofon SPU Synergy A modernizes the legendary SPU design with optimizations for sonic purity and compatibility. It features a wood-based housing, revised generator system with Neodymium magnets for 0.5 mV output, reducing the need for high-gain preamplification. The nude elliptical stylus has reduced tip mass for lower VTF and better tracking. Designed for tonearms requiring shorter overhang, it delivers the sonic capabilities of the SPU Synergy GM in a compact bakelite body.
