The Ortofon 2MR Blue cartridge is part of the 2MR series designed specifically for low-profile turntables requiring slim cartridges, such as Rega models. It features a specially designed narrow cartridge housing that allows seamless integration without the need for spacers or modifications, enabling quick and easy mounting with just two screws. The 2MR Blue uses a high-performance motor system with quad coils and Ortofon's unique split pole pins with copper wire, delivering precise, detailed, and true-to-life sound reproduction. It is equipped with a highly polished nude elliptical stylus that improves tracking ability and reduces noise, offering enhanced resolution, openness, and deeper groove penetration compared to the 2MR Red model. The cartridge maintains full compatibility with all 2M styli, allowing users to tailor their listening experience. It weighs 6 grams and is finished in a black body with a blue stylus assembly.
