The Sovereign MkII turntable by Origin Live is a true high-end design known for its superb build quality and sound performance. It features a high mass plinth machined from very high grade inert materials with triple plinth decoupling to minimize resonance. The turntable uses a unique single-point cantilevered suspension that avoids the common issues of softening or hardness found in other designs, resulting in superior pitch, rhythm, timing, rock-solid imaging, reduced coloration, and refined presentation of low-level information. The Mk5 Motor Power Supply introduces a new PCB offering improved speed stability and sonic performance, eliminating speed drift, motor jitter, and cogging. It supports 33.33 and 45 RPM speeds with electronic switching via a single knob without needing belt or platter changes. The armboard accepts 9.5" and 12" Origin Live arms and can be machined for other brands. The deck is designed for easy setup, near zero maintenance, and high reliability. It weighs approximately 28.4 kg and measures around 49 x 36 x 17 cm (WxDxH) with a 9.5 inch arm.
