The Origin Live DC Motor Kit is a turntable motor upgrade kit that includes a high-grade DC motor with an ironless core to virtually eliminate cogging effects, precious metal brushes for reliability, an external power supply with highly regulated voltage surpassing lead acid batteries, and an electronic speed control unit. The kit comes with a motor mounting plate that allows easy fitting to most decks and belt tension adjustment, a pulley designed for flat belts to reduce slippage and vibration, and a strobe card for accurate speed setting. It supports infinitely variable motor speed adjustment via preset dial resistors, making it adaptable to different platter sizes and turntable models. The motor's vibrationless nature allows it to be mounted directly on the platter sub-chassis without noise breakthrough, eliminating the need for rubber band decoupling.
