The Orchard Audio CRISPIN amplifier is a high-performance stereo audio amplifier featuring low-feedback, low-impedance true-balanced output and high bandwidth. It delivers 100 watts per channel into 8 ohms and 200 watts into 4 ohms, with a signal-to-noise ratio of 117 dB and a frequency response from 0 to 100 kHz. Unlike many Class-D amplifiers focused on compactness and power, the CRISPIN emphasizes musicality and sonic excellence, housed in a robust steel enclosure with a large transformer for superior sound quality. It uses Digital Amplifier Company's Class-D modules, designed and built in the USA, ensuring high-quality components and implementation. The amplifier was initially available through a Kickstarter project and represents Orchard Audio's entry into the high-end audio market, founded by Leo Ayzenshtat, an experienced engineer with a background in aerospace and advanced technology companies.
