The Oppo Digital HA-1 is a versatile and high-quality audio component that functions as a Class A headphone amplifier, USB DAC, stereo preamplifier, and Bluetooth streamer. It supports a wide range of digital inputs including asynchronous USB (up to 32-bit/384kHz PCM and DSD256), AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical, as well as analog inputs via RCA and balanced XLR. The HA-1 features a fully balanced analog signal path internally, a discrete Class A headphone amplifier stage, and a robust toroidal power supply. It is designed to deliver crisp, powerful, and musical sound with very low distortion and noise. The unit includes a motorized analog volume control with remote operation and a configurable front panel display. It is well-built with a heavy chassis and high-quality components, making it suitable for both headphone listening and as a preamplifier in a high-end audio system. The HA-1 supports all common PCM sample rates and bit depths, as well as DSD formats up to DSD256, making it future-proof for emerging high-resolution audio formats. It also features Bluetooth with aptX codec support and a front USB port compatible with Apple devices.
