About the Minimo 2
The Ophidian Minimo 2 is a compact 2-way micro monitor loudspeaker, ideal for use on bookshelves, desktops, or mounted on walls. It features a 115mm coated paper midbass unit with a powerful motor system, providing a 65% greater surface area compared to its predecessor, which enhances power handling. The speaker also includes a 27mm neodymium high-frequency unit with a Sonolex coated fabric diaphragm, ensuring clear and detailed high frequencies. The unique AEROFLEX port system allows for controlled bass performance by minimizing port velocity and supporting the midbass unit throughout its stroke. The cabinet is braced and optimized, built in Sheffield, UK, and includes detachable magnetic protective grilles.
