About the CDS120

The Opera Consonance CDS120 is an integrated high-end CD player, DAC, and network music player. It uses a high-stability slot-in CD mechanism with buffering and digital decoding, a femtosecond clock, dual-toroidal linear power supplies, and a discrete Class A analogue output stage with DC coupling. In addition to CD playback, it supports network streaming and high-resolution PCM/DSD file playback, with balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA analogue outputs. The manufacturer currently presents the CDS120 on its product website, so it should not be classified as no longer manufactured; however, availability may vary by market and production status is not independently confirmed.
