The Opera Consonance Reference 8 is a high-performance digital music player featuring a built-in CPU with FPGA dual-clock design and twin custom crystal oscillators achieving ultra-low -130dB phase noise. It supports PCM lossless formats including WAV, FLAC, AIFF, ALAC, AAC, MP3, WMA up to 32bit/384kHz, and DSD formats DFF/DSF/ISO DSD64 up to 1bit/2.82MHz. The DSD stream is transmitted directly to the DAC without conversion to PCM, preserving audio fidelity. It offers multiple digital inputs: 2 coaxial RCA, 1 optical, and USB external CD/DVD-ROM playback. Optional Bluetooth (X2) and Wi-Fi (X3) adapters enable wireless streaming and remote control via iOS and Android apps. The output terminals use high-end WBT and NTRIC connectors. The player also supports internet radio and DLNA streaming with efficient network integration. The Reference 8 is available with wooden or metal top covers and comes with a one-year warranty.
