About the M80

The Onkyo M-80 is a premium Hi-Fi stereo power amplifier designed for powerful and dynamic audio performance. It utilizes symmetrical Class A/B amplification and a 3-stage Inverted Darlington output stage, providing high-current, low-distortion power. The amplifier delivers 130 watts per channel into 8 ohms (20-20,000 Hz) at 0.08% THD with both channels driven, and 200 watts per channel into 4 ohms. Its robust design allows it to drive large speakers such as floor standers, bringing out their full potential with great dynamics and information. The M-80 features a rigid three-piece housing constructed from two aluminum side panels and a steel top panel, enhancing rigidity and reducing vibrations for improved sound quality. It offers RCA and XLR analog audio inputs, a 12V trigger input, and is suitable for both stereo and home theater applications.
