The Integra DTR-7.8 is a high-end 7.1-channel home theater A/V receiver featuring THX Ultra2 certification and delivering 130 watts per channel into 8 ohms with very low distortion (0.05% THD+N). It supports HDMI version 1.3a with three inputs and one output, capable of 1080p and Deep Color 36-bit video signals. The receiver decodes the latest high-resolution audio formats including Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, DTS-HD Master Audio, and DTS-HD High Resolution. It uses top-of-the-line Burr Brown 192kHz/24-bit DACs on all channels and includes advanced processing with three TI 32-bit DSP chips. Audyssey MultEQ XT room correction calibrates speaker delays, frequency response, and equalization for optimal sound in multiple listening positions. The DTR-7.8 supports multi-zone operation with powered Zone 2 and unpowered Zone 3, including independent audio and video outputs and controls. It features extensive connectivity including 3 HDMI inputs, 3 component video inputs, 6 S-Video, 6 composite, 3 Toslink optical, and 3 coaxial digital inputs. Additional features include Neural THX surround processing, Faroudja DCDi video processing, RS-232 and Ethernet control ports for integration, and a high current power supply with WRAT (Wide Range Amplifier Technology) for dynamic and linear response from 5 Hz to 100 kHz.
