The Onkyo C-7030 Compact Disc Player combines high-quality components and Onkyo audio expertise to deliver superior CD playback. It employs Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry (VLSC) for pulse noise reduction, a high-precision clock (±10 ppm) to minimize timing errors, and a massive custom EI transformer for stable power. A high-quality 192 kHz/24-bit DAC (Wolfson) handles digital-to-analog conversion for detailed, low-jitter audio. Build quality includes a high-rigidity, anti-resonant 1.6 mm-thick flat chassis base and a solid aluminum front panel. It supports playback of Audio CD, CD-R, CD-RW, MP3 CD, and WMA CD with features like up to 25-track programmable memory, random/repeat modes, direct track access via remote, and a front-panel headphone output with volume control. Connectivity includes fixed analog RCA output, optical and coaxial digital outputs, and an RI (Remote Interactive) system control jack. Typically available in black and silver finishes; original production ran in the 2010s and new units are no longer in active production, with only clearance and refurbished stock offered.
