The OJAS TPLC Speaker Wire is a high-quality 16 AWG stranded copper tinned speaker wire featuring a lacquered cotton dielectric insulation. Made in the USA, it is designed to replicate the natural and pure sound characteristics of vintage Western Electric switchboard wire, prized for its simple materials: copper, tin, and cotton. Unlike common alternatives like Belden 9497 which use PVC insulation prone to UV damage and discoloration, the OJAS TPLC wire offers a more natural sound and durable construction. It is available in orange/black, blue/grey, and green/grey color combinations. The wire is sold in various lengths including 9 feet pairs, 40 feet singles, and 100 feet singles, with custom lengths available upon request. This wire has been used in high-end HiFi listening rooms and is noted for its beautiful appearance and sonic purity.
