The Odyssey Audio Stratos is a solid-state amplifier known for its robust performance and versatility. It is available in several models, including the base Stratos Stereo, Stratos Stereo Plus, and Stratos Stereo Extreme. The base model delivers 150 Watts RMS per channel into 8 ohms and 260 Watts into 4 ohms, making it suitable for a variety of speaker configurations. It features a Class A/AB design, which provides a smooth and detailed sound without harshness or edge. The amplifier is 2 Ohm load stable, ensuring compatibility with a wide range of speakers. It boasts a frequency response of 2 Hz to 400,000 Hz, a high damping factor, and low total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 0.04%. The Stratos also includes features like anti-vibration PCBs, high-quality Sanken transistors, and a robust 400 VA Plitron transformer. The Stratos Stereo Plus and Extreme models offer additional improvements, including increased memory banks and higher performance components.
