About the Khartago Mono
The Khartago Mono Amplifier by Odyssey Audio is a high-performance monoblock amplifier offering 110 Watts RMS per unit at 8 Ohms, stable down to 2 Ohms. It operates in Class A/AB with an ultra-wide frequency response from 1 Hz to 600,000 Hz, ensuring exceptional audio fidelity. The amplifier features 120,000µF capacitance memory per unit, 120 amps current delivery, and less than 0.04% total harmonic distortion (THD), which is inaudible. It has a continuous damping factor greater than 800, input impedance of 22k Ohms, and DC offset below 1 mV. Inputs are RCA only. The power supply includes a 400 VA Plitron transformer and uses Sanken Epitaxial Planar Transistors (2SA1216 & 2SC2922). The design incorporates anti-vibration dual thickness PCBs and multiple internal fuses for protection. Idle power consumption is approximately 30 Watts. The amplifier is noted for its warm, full sound with excellent bass control and a wide, deep soundstage, making it suitable for demanding audiophile systems. The Khartago Mono Plus and Extreme versions offer enhancements such as increased capacitance and higher quality components for improved performance.
