About the CDT-8 Pro

The NuPrime CDT-8 Pro is a dedicated high-resolution CD transport, not a complete CD player: it reads CD-DA, CD-R, and CD-RW discs and sends the digital signal to an external DAC through optical, coaxial, AES/EBU, or HDMI I2S output. Its selectable sample-rate converter can convert CD audio from 44.1 kHz to rates as high as 768 kHz, or to DoP64/DoP128/DoP256 over the appropriate outputs. The unit uses a compact aluminum chassis, includes a remote control and power cable, and is designed for integration with NuPrime and other compatible digital audio equipment. regional availability may vary.
