The NSMT Model 75 Loudspeaker combines a time coherent, two-way acoustic suspension monitor section with an active acoustic suspension subwoofer in a single compact cabinet. It features a 1 inch textile dome tweeter with a wave guide flange for perfect time alignment, an 8 inch crossover-less broad band painted paper cone midrange driver, and an amplified 8 inch painted paper cone subwoofer driven by a 300-watt digital amplifier. The speaker delivers stunning performance from 26 Hz to 20,000 Hz with an efficiency of 96.5 dB and an 8 Ohm impedance. The cabinet is built from natural Birch plywood, measuring 42 inches high by 9.5 inches wide by 9 inches deep, and weighs 52 pounds. It includes high-quality metal outriggers with spikes for acoustic isolation and stability. The Model 75 is designed for superior musicality, coherence, spatial presentation, dynamics, speed, and tonality, filling the performance gap between the Model 50 and Model 100. It supports bi-wiring with fully insulated, gold-plated five-way binding posts and uses multi-strand copper wiring internally. The crossover is second order to the tweeter and crossover-less between the midrange and active subwoofer, contributing to seamless octave-to-octave sound and remarkable bass extension for its size. The Model 75 works well with SET "flea watt" amplifiers as well as high-powered solid-state designs, offering excellent transient response and imaging.
