About the KO2
The Nola KO-2 loudspeaker expands upon the original KO model by providing greater emotional connection, image density, and focus with life-like dynamics. It features eight new woven carbon fiber midrange drivers with edge-wound Kapton voice coils and cast aluminum frames, upgraded crossover boards, and a retuned bass chamber. The KO-2 maintains an easy-drive 8 ohm / 90 dB sensitivity rating and offers a frequency response from 30 Hz to 28 kHz (effective 25 Hz). It is designed to fill medium to large rooms with high-quality sonic performance, including a huge soundstage and fluid presentation. The speaker is finished in true piano rosewood with piano black bases as standard, with other finishes available by special order. It weighs approximately 200 lbs per side and measures 62"H x 12"W x 16"D including bases. The KO-2 is praised for its vivid, involving sound with perfect scaling of solo instruments and powerful, tight bass without overhang, making subwoofers unnecessary. It is no longer available new but remains highly regarded in the audiophile community.
