About the Champ S3

The Nola Champ S3 is a 3.5-way, five-driver-per-side floorstanding loudspeaker using an open-baffle configuration. It combines a 1-inch silk-dome tweeter and twin 3-inch dipole midrange drivers with two 6.5-inch low-mass bass drivers, each operating in a separate tuned chamber. Its crossover uses hand-wired point-to-point boards with Mundorf oil capacitors and Nordost monofilament silver wire in critical signal paths. The Champ S3 has a 30 Hz–30 kHz frequency range, 90 dB sensitivity, and an 8-ohm impedance. It measures approximately 42 inches high by 9.5 inches wide by 12 inches deep and includes a matching base and floor spikes. The speaker was offered in American cherry wood and is designed to provide spacious imaging, fast transient response, natural tonal balance, and dynamic, detailed reproduction.
