It is an output transformerless (OTL) design that can deliver 150 watts into a 16 ohm load, 65 watts into 8 ohms, and 35 watts into 4 ohms. The amplifier features an extraordinarily large, regulated B+ power supply capable of dissipating up to 5000 watts and providing 100% regulation from 2Hz to 100kHz at full power output, which is unique among OTL designs. The amplifier weighs 250 pounds and is housed in four heavy rack-mountable chassis with rugged industrial styling reminiscent of 1950s military test gear.
