The Neumann KH 120 A W is a powerful, compact, bi-amplified active studio monitor featuring a 5.25" composite sandwich cone woofer and a 1" titanium fabric dome tweeter. It delivers exceptional bass depth and transient response from 52 Hz to 21 kHz with low distortion, enabled by the Extremely Linear Force Factor technology and a long-throw bass driver. The monitor uses Neumann's Elliptical Mathematically Modeled Dispersion (MMD) waveguide for wide horizontal dispersion and narrow vertical dispersion, reducing unwanted reflections and optimizing sound in diverse acoustic environments. It includes 4-position bass, low-mid, and treble acoustical controls, wide input gain and output level controls, display dimmer, and ground lift to reduce noise. The cabinet is magnetically shielded, made of compact aluminum with a robust metal grille, and finished in white (RAL 9016). It is designed for near-field applications such as project, music, broadcast, and post-production studios for recording, mixing, and mastering. The monitor is highly reliable with separate woofer and tweeter electronic peak limiters and thermal protection circuitry. It features an analog electronically balanced XLR input and a universal switched-mode power supply for worldwide use. The KH 120 A W is pair-matched for consistent stereo imaging and includes mounting points for flexible installation.
