The Network Acoustics Muon Pro Streaming System is a premium Ethernet-based audio streaming solution originally developed as a special-order product for studio and mastering engineers, now offered to home audio listeners who need an Ethernet connection speed up to 1 Gb/s. It comprises a Muon Pro Ethernet Filter and a Muon Pro Streaming Cable (with 1.5 m as the common standard length and other lengths available), designed to work together to reduce electrical and radio-frequency noise and thereby improve sound staging, clarity, tonal accuracy, detail retrieval, layer separation, and overall coherence of streamed music. The system uses a proprietary 8-core cable architecture with 99.99% high-purity UP-OCC conductors and passive RFI/EMI filtering that does not alter the data stream but filters noise that would otherwise reach sensitive audio components. The Ethernet Filter is a passive device engineered to operate at up to 1 Gb/s, hand-assembled and individually tested in the UK. The Streaming Cable employs physically segregated twisted pairs, bespoke dielectrics for data, earth, and 5 V lines, and high-quality wide-bandwidth gold-plated RJ45 connectors.
