The Neat Acoustics Ultimatum XL6 is a 2.5-way floorstanding loudspeaker designed for exceptional musical enjoyment and longevity. It features an ultra-rigid birch-plywood enclosure with innovative baffle-decoupling technology and an isobaric bass loading system that uses two 168mm bass drivers in a stacked configuration to extend bass response while keeping cabinet size compact. The speaker includes a 168mm bass/midrange driver with an aluminum phase plug, a 26mm SONOMEX domed tweeter, and two upward-firing 25mm EMIT planar ribbon super-tweeters to deliver a wide frequency range up to 40 kHz with enhanced airiness and detail. The enclosure is internally divided into five optimized chambers to isolate drivers and reduce interference. It has a sensitivity of 87 dB/1 watt, an average impedance of 8 ohms (minimum 5 ohms), and is recommended for use with amplifiers from 25 to 200 watts. The speaker is available in multiple finishes including Black Ash Figured Birch, Walnut, Oak, and premium high-gloss options like Velvet Cloud and Piano Black.
