The Nakamichi MB-2, released in 1993, is a premium CD player featuring the innovative Music Bank system, allowing playback of up to seven CDs: one on the tray and six stored in an internal stocker. It supports continuous play, memory play for up to 50 tracks, 3-way random play (all/delete/single), and 4-way repeat functions. Key technologies include an EL (Enhanced Linearity) 20-bit dual D/A converter for superior low-level signal accuracy, 8x oversampling digital filter, linear phase third-order Bessel analog filter, multi-regulated power supply, isolated ground system, large disc stabilizer, and high-stability servo. Designed for natural sound reproduction with minimal distortion and noise. It includes synchronized recording with Nakamichi decks and a wireless remote. No longer manufactured, available used around $20-$250.
