About the Uniti 2

The Naim Uniti 2 is a comprehensive all-in-one audio system that integrates five key elements: a 70W per channel integrated stereo amplifier, a CD player with a swing-out tray capable of playing standard Red Book CDs and CD-R discs, a multi-mode radio combining FM/DAB tuner and internet radio, a UPnP audio interface for network streaming, and a USB/iPod audio interface. It supports high-resolution audio streaming up to 24-bit/192kHz and features a Burr-Brown PCM1793 DAC for improved digital audio quality. The amplifier section includes five analogue and five S/PDIF digital audio inputs, plus internal inputs from the CD player and tuner. Outputs include line out, two mono subwoofer outputs, preamplifier output, and headphone output. The unit offers volume, balance, input selection, and mute controls accessible via front panel or remote control. The Uniti 2 supports internet radio via Naim vTuner, multi-room streaming, and USB memory playback. It is housed in a matt black, non-resonant, non-magnetic case and features a larger front panel display window inherited from the SuperUniti. The system is designed for audiophile performance with refined sound quality, dynamic range, and improved bass control, suitable for a wide range of loudspeakers and room sizes. It was relaunched in 2012 as an evolution of the original Uniti, with enhancements in power, digital section, and CD player mechanism.
