About the NAIT XS 2

The Nait XS 2 integrated amplifier from Naim Audio delivers 70 watts per channel into 8 ohms, offering more power than its predecessor, the Nait XS. It features six analog inputs supporting both DIN and RCA connections, a high-quality Class A headphone amplifier with a 1/4" (6.35mm) headphone output, and advanced ceramic heatsink technology that improves thermal dissipation and reduces distortion. The amplifier uses constant current source drive electronics, a reconfigured internal layout to optimize signal paths, and custom manufactured film capacitors in all audio-critical locations. It is housed in a slimline aluminum enclosure and includes AV bypass mode, preamplifier, power amplifier, and subwoofer connections. The Nait XS 2 is known for its dynamic, delicate, and even-handed sound, capable of driving most loudspeakers to realistic levels in large rooms. It also offers upgrade options with external power supplies such as FlatCap XS, HiCap, or SuperCap to further enhance performance. Dimensions are approximately 70 x 432 x 314 mm (H x W x D) and it weighs about 8.4 kg. The amplifier has been discontinued and replaced by the Nait XS 3 model.
