The NAD CI 980 Multi-Channel Power Amplifier provides eight channels of clean, low-distortion amplification in a 4 stereo zone configuration, ideal for multi-room audio, whole-home systems, and light commercial installations. It utilizes high-efficiency switching technology for compact size, low weight, energy savings, and superb musical sound quality. Key features include bridgeable channels for 120W output, signal-sensing or DC trigger auto-on with auto standby, global and zone-specific RCA inputs/outputs for flexible wiring, Phoenix speaker blocks, rack-mount design (2U height), full short-circuit and thermal protection with auto-recovery, indicator lamps for clipping and protection, and extremely low noise floor. It drives real-world speaker loads including low impedance and long cable runs stably, with universal voltage support for marine/avionics use.
