The NAD C 388 Hybrid Digital DAC Amplifier combines advanced Class D amplification using a customized Hypex UcD output stage in a fully balanced bridge configuration, providing 150W continuous power per channel into both 4 and 8 ohms, with IHF dynamic power up to 400W at 2 ohms. It supports a wide range of inputs including two coaxial digital, two optical digital, two line-level analog RCA, MM phono preamp with RIAA equalization, and Bluetooth aptX for wireless streaming. The built-in 24-bit/192kHz DAC handles high-resolution audio, while low-impedance pre-outs allow connection to subwoofers or additional amplifiers. A dedicated headphone amplifier drives high-impedance headphones. The switch-mode power supply operates from 100-240V AC, ensuring efficient, noise-free performance with near-perfect voltage regulation. Tone controls for bass, treble, and balance are included, along with optional BluOS module for network streaming.
