The NAD S-200 is a high-performance stereo power amplifier from NAD's Silver Line series, manufactured between 1998 and 2003. It delivers 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms in stereo mode and up to 700 watts into 8 ohms in mono mode. The amplifier features a wide frequency response from 2.5 Hz to 80 kHz, very low total harmonic distortion of 0.03%, and a high damping factor of 200, ensuring precise and dynamic audio reproduction. It supports speaker loads down to 2 ohms and has an input sensitivity of 1.4V with a signal-to-noise ratio of 95 dB. The unit weighs approximately 27 kg and measures 450 x 180 x 406 mm. It includes a remote control and is noted for its robust build quality and neutral sound signature. The S-200 is a factory tweaked version of the NAD 218 THX amplifier, with improvements such as better PCB design and higher quality components.
