The NAD C-568 is a single-disc CD player that builds upon the performance of its predecessor, the C 565BEE. It supports CD, CD-R, and CD-RW discs, and can decode MP3 and WMA files copied onto these discs. The player features a front-panel USB-A input for external mass storage devices, supporting audio rates up to 384 kbps. It utilizes a Wolfson 24-bit Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) for high-resolution audio conversion and includes Super High-Speed OPAmps (LM4562) for improved sound quality. The C 568 also includes an Ultra-High Precision Clock Module to minimize digital jitter, ensuring accurate sound reproduction. Additional features include coaxial and optical digital outputs, a toroid power supply with separate regulators for analog and digital sections, and a VFL display with CD text support. The player supports repeat mode, program play up to 40 tracks, and random play. It also features an external IR input and a 12V trigger input, with a low standby consumption of less than 0.5 watts.
