The NAD M17 V2 is an advanced AV surround sound preamp processor designed for audiophiles and home theater enthusiasts. It features a fully balanced 11.1 channel output with Mini XLR for height channels and differential DACs for each channel. The unit uses separate linear and active power supplies for analog and digital sections and employs NAD's Modular Design Construction (MDC) with upgradeable AM 17 Audio and VM 300 Video modules. It supports 5 HDMI inputs and 2 outputs with full 4K UHD, 4K/60p/4:4:4/HDCP 2.2 compatibility. The processor supports Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, and includes full Dirac Live room correction software with a calibrated microphone for precise acoustic tuning. BluOS streaming is integrated, allowing access to numerous internet radio stations and high-quality music services with Master Quality Authenticated (MQA) support. The M17 V2 offers flexible zone controls, independent source and volume controls for Zone 2, and eco-friendly operation with less than 0.5W standby power consumption. It also features a front-panel touchscreen, advanced tone controls, and RS-232 interface for integration with control systems. The processor is built with premium components, delivering high signal-to-noise ratio, low distortion (<0.005% THD), and excellent channel separation (>70dB).
