The NAD 7600 Monitor Series Receiver, produced from 1987 to 1989, integrates NAD's three finest Monitor Series stereo separates: the 1300 preamplifier, 4300 tuner, and 2600A power amplifier into a single chassis. It is known for its powerful 150 watts per channel output into 8 ohms, exceptional sensitivity, and flexibility. The receiver features a wide tuning range for FM and MW, a frequency response from 20 Hz to 20 kHz, and very low total harmonic distortion of 0.03%. It includes advanced tone controls with selectable frequency bands for bass and treble, a bass EQ (loudness), and pre-out/main-in loops. The unit is operated by an infrared remote control and has a damping factor of 120, signal-to-noise ratios of 76 dB (MC and MM) and 96 dB (line), and supports speaker loads from 2 to 8 ohms.
