About the Empire

The Mytek Audio Empire is a flagship, all-in-one digital and analog audio component combining a network streamer with integrated Roon Core, dual-mono DAC, balanced preamplifier, MM/MC phono stage, and high-current balanced headphone amplifier. The original Empire DAC/Streamer was introduced as Mytek’s cost-no-object reference product and uses a dual-mono, fully balanced architecture with separate linear power supplies for digital and analog sections. It supports high-resolution PCM, DSD, and MQA playback, includes internal music storage, and provides extensive analog and digital connectivity. Mytek’s later Empire hardware revision uses ES9039PRO converters; early production and launch documentation specifies dual ES9038PRO DACs. These should not be treated as identical revisions. Mytek’s website continues to list the Empire Streamer DAC, although availability and revision status should be confirmed directly with the manufacturer.
