About the Brooklyn

The Mytek Audio Brooklyn is a compact, high-resolution DAC, analog preamplifier, phono stage, headphone amplifier, and USB audio interface. The original Brooklyn combines an ESS Sabre 9018PRO converter with PCM playback up to 32-bit/384 kHz, native DSD256, DXD support, hardware MQA decoding, extensive digital inputs, balanced and unbalanced analog outputs, a relay-controlled line/MM/MC input, and a high-current headphone amplifier. It also provides word-clock input/output, selectable analog or digital volume control, remote control, and optional 12 V DC/battery operation. Mytek’s current product information and legacy-product listings indicate that the original Brooklyn is a legacy/discontinued model and has been superseded by later products such as the Brooklyn DAC+ and Brooklyn Bridge variants.
