The Mutec REF 10 is a high-end audiophile reference master clock generating 10 MHz signals with extremely low phase noise (jitter) to improve digital audio playback systems. Engineered around a handcrafted, ultra-low phase noise oven-controlled crystal oscillator (OCXO) made in Germany, it delivers exceptional clock precision and audio purity. The REF 10 produces a very high slew-rate square wave signal for superior lock precision compared to sine wave signals used by competitors. It features eight galvanically isolated, individually switchable BNC clock outputs with simultaneous 50 and 75 ohm impedance outputs for maximum compatibility with a wide range of DACs, audio re-clockers, music servers, and master clocks. The device includes a revolutionary, sub-Hz optimized, lowest-noise power supply for every circuit section, integrated high-quality international linear power supply, and efficient power line filtering. It has an intuitive user interface with noble aesthetics and is rack-mountable with optional brackets (2U).
