About the A3 CD

The Musical Fidelity A3 CD player utilizes the latest 24-bit Delta-Sigma DAC technology with 8x oversampling and jitter reduction techniques to deliver excellent technical specifications and unparalleled sound quality. It features a highly stable CMOS oscillator master clock and a sophisticated linear phase 5-pole analogue filter after the DAC to remove digital artefacts above the audio band, reducing spurious noise and aliasing. The player includes analog RCA outputs and digital outputs (optical Toslink and coaxial S/PDIF). It is designed to aesthetically match other A3 series components and is known for extremely low jitter, excellent low-level linearity, and consistent sound performance across discs. The unit comes with a remote control and operates on 100/115/230V AC with 15 Watts power consumption. Dimensions are approximately 440mm (W) x 95mm (H) x 400mm (D), and it weighs 6 kg.
