The Music Reference RM10 is a stereo vacuum tube power amplifier designed by Roger Modjeski, delivering 35 watts RMS per channel and 70 watts RMS in mono mode. It features a pair of EL84 output tubes per channel and 12AX7 input tubes, with hand-wired point-to-point construction. The amplifier offers a flat frequency response within 0.1 dB across the audio range and low distortion (typically 0.3% on average level material below clipping). It has very low hum and noise levels, with hum less than 0.25 millivolts and noise typically between 40 to 80 microvolts depending on the driver tubes used. The RM10 is designed to drive efficient speakers and is praised for its natural, unforced sound with powerful mid-bass and detailed mids and highs.
