About the Ikura

The Music Hall Ikura is a fully manual, belt-driven turntable designed for audiophiles seeking both superior sound quality and striking aesthetics. It features a unique split-plinth construction with vibration-isolating conical rubber cones for quieter performance. The platter is made from medium-density fiberboard (MDF), chosen for its sonic qualities, and supports a soft felt mat. The Ikura is equipped with a one-piece aluminum alloy tonearm featuring Swiss-made ABEC 7 stainless steel bearings for rigidity and low resonance. The turntable includes a dust cover and a 45 RPM adapter, and is available in high-gloss black or white finishes. The design was a collaboration between Roy Hall and industrial designer James Kyroudis, resulting in a modern, rounded look with a distinctive swirling dot pattern on the top surface.
